City officials are sticking the South Bronx with a new jail as part their plan to shut down Rikers Island because the neighborhood doesn’t have the clout or the money that other communities have to fight it, according to a new lawsuit.

Walter Nash and the Diego Beekman Mutual Housing Association in Mott Haven filed suit against the city and its planning department and commission on Friday. Read more.
