On Tuesday, September 3rd, the City Planning Commission will vote on Mayor Bill de Blasio's plan to expand New York City's carceral system by building four new skyscraper jails in our boroughs and a number of smaller jail outposts in our hospitals.

The CPC is stacked with career real estate developers threatening to pass off systemic oppression as not just progressive and community-building, but also as the only way to shut down Rikers. We need to show up to their doorstep and fight this narrative together!
